Don't You Worry Child
"I remember..." The elder, grey with wisdom spoke with little disdain. I listened with anticipation, Grey Sky's stories were always peculiar and interesting, yet this one seemed less humorous. "I remember how I'd look into my farther's eyes and be proud. He was my role model, my idol. I wanted to be like him when I was older...But, those times are gone now."
His pale face saddened. He paused. "I remember how it all changed. My farther and mother were taking me and my sister, Silent Breeze, on our very first hunting lesson. We were..." He squinted his eyes, trying to shut out the memories. "No...I need to get it all out...

I wait
And wait for it
The arrogant, strange thing
The thing that brings laughter to children
And tears to newlyweds
The thing that gives you the will to wake in the morning
Or study for that important exam
I want it
I yearn for it
I need it
Yet it does not come
I try to smile sometimes
Even speak its name
"H...H...H-Happi...ness..."
Yet I am still alone
Alone with these devilish, evil creatures
Regret, Loneliness, Yearning and Sin

Literature
Slightly A Better Place
Blue veins beneath
Scream to be awakened
Salty sweat running down my cheek
"Freak! Mongrel dog!", The victim shrieks
"Yes, I know." I smile
An honest, wry smile
"Why are you doing this?", it screams
Fair question, puny human
I think you know the answer
But 'why' is not tonight's theme
It is Passion and Patience
I have such a passion for this
I stalked you for weeks
And finally it has paid off
I lift the knife
Now,
Now to finally end this strife
I plunge it in it's heart
Death comes quickly
Sadly, I can't savor this moment
I have a family
Can you believe it?!
Chop it up, piece by piece
Wrap up the plastic
The Dark Passenger fed, and The Cod

I was out the back yard, raking.
I saw my Chiuahua, Sasha, sunbaking in the front yard. She sneaks out a lot. Shes had a lot of near misses with cars.
But...I do nothing. I don't take here inside or anything. I just shrug. 'That won't happen to little old Sashie.'
Well...
It did.
I heard these yelps and raced out the front and saw her there with blood all over here face. She was dragging here legs around because she was paralyzed.
The lady behind the car said that a blue car had skidded into the gutter and hit her. I didn't need any more proof. I could see the tire marks.
We took her to the vet and they kept her there.
